He is survived by: his wife Della Benevides; his pet Moose; his stepdaughter Jessica Bullion Danz (Brian); his brother Ray Benevides; his sibling's children, Eric Benevides (Anna) and Christen Antonio (Jason); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zack, Kohle and Landon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Administration in his honor.
