She was predeceased by : her parents, Evelyn Helies and Frank Helies; and her brother Ed. She is survived by : her siblings, Nancy Williams (late Robert) of Point Pleasant and Frank Helies (Linda) of Brielle; her sisters-in-law, Martha Apostolou (Ted) of Virginia and Barbara Apostolou Torres; and her significant other Mark T. Apostolou, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Orender Family Home For Funerals (2643 Old Bridge Rd, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine's Church (215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762).
