He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Ayers and Bernice Ayers; his wife Leslie Ayers; his children, Ian Ayers (Leigh) of Charlottesville, VA and Dana Cone (Dustin) of Palm City, FL; his grandchildren, Lucille, Delaney and Larson; and his brother Jim Ayers (Marsha) of Medford, NJ. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Orender Family Home For Funerals (2643 Old Bridge Rd, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
