With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vanette Michals Carousis of Manasquan, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Michals and Spiros Michals; her husband Michael L. Carousis; and her siblings, Athanasia, Dean and George.

She is survived by: her children, Elias M. Carousis (Manasquan) and Elena Michals Coniaris (Carousis); her grandchildren, Chloe, Chelsea (David Fischer) and H. John; Harry J. Coniaris. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren and close friends.

She was a staunch steward of the Greek Orthodox Church and a devoted Foundation Board Member of the St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine in St. Augustine, Florida.
