He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J Burns and Nancy Burns; and his brothers, John and Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his son Jeffery (Laura); his grandchildren, Brian, Shannon and Will; his son James (Sherry); his grandchildren, Tara (Adam) and James; his son William (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Kaylan, Emily and William.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Orender Family Home For Funerals (2643 Old Bridge Rd, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Denis Church (90 Union Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catharine Cemetery (1100 W Chicago Blvd, Sea Girt, NJ 08750).
