Scalo of Garfield, NJ; his sisters, JoAnn Pangione (Joseph) of Walton, NY and Patricia Garcia (Silio) of Clifton, NJ; his grandchildren, Frances, Michael III, Kathleen Callahan, Scott Toth, Giovanni, Leilani, Willow and Nicolina Scalo; and his siblings' children, Jill Youngs, Jenna Pangione, Silio, Avery Garcia, Elizabeth Maylath and John Kettles. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
