He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie R. Cherry and William H. Cherry; his sisters, Retha Carmon and Ethel Gardner; and his wife Doris Jean Daniels Cherry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christala Cherry of Manchester, Juanita Cherry of Edgewater Park and Monica Cherry of Edgewater Park; his grandson Isiah Daniels Sams of Edgewater Park; and his siblings, Moses Cherry (Faye), Mary Stevenson (John) and Ruby Corey (Fontaine). He is also survived by loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
