With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Alton Tuttle of Mantua, New Jersey, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Walter had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Walter may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Tuttle and Topsey Tuttle; his former wife Mary; his children, Walter Alton Tuttle, Jr., Robert Tuttle and Mary Eckel (Bob Eckel); his wife Arline (Grisolia); and his brother William "Bill" Tuttle.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan McCarthy; and his siblings, Topsey Bon Vardo, Laura Tuttle, Joan Williams and Patricia Hayes. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (550 Delsea Dr, Sewell, NJ 08080).
