He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Kraus and Catherine; his wife Edith; and his siblings, Joseph, George, Robert, Catherine, Florence, Marion and Lucy.

He is survived by : his daughter Monica Snelgrove; and his nieces and nephews, George Kraus, Janice Haas, Eugene Herre and Donna Webb.
