He is survived by: his wife Shayna; his children, Arlene, Laura Calhoun, Suzanne Alterman and Richard Alterman; his sister Ruth Brod; and his stepchildren, Jonathan Menkis, Sarah Macaluso, Edward, Robin Panzer and Charles Panzer.
