He is survived by: his wife Patricia Streepy Hildebrand; his daughters, Lauren Hildebrand and Kate Trachtenberg; his children-in-law, Lauren Muehlethaler Hildebrand and Chris Trachtenberg; his grandchildren, Wesley and Margaret Hildebrand; and his sisters, Christine and Virginia Hildebrand.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Eric's honor to an organization that was always dear to his heart, The CHS Cougar Boosters.
