It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilmer Towell of Maplewood, New Jersey, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sydney Towell and Gladys Towell; his wife Juli Shea Towell; his son Geoffrey Gilmer Towell (Elizabeth C. Towell); his grandchildren, Alissa Smith-Comstock, Nicholas, Smith, Elizabeth Smith Madison, Devon C. Towell and Sydney E. Towell; his great grandchild Cecelia A. Comstock; and his siblings, Cynthia Towell Shively and David Gilmer Towell. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
