We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2023, James W. Buchanan of Maplewood, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brother Howard E. Buchanan, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Carol Buchanan; his daughter Rebekah Buchanan Harris of Bethesda; his grandchildren, Benjamin Lev Harris, Maayan Shira Harris and Shoshana Eve Harris; and his brothers, Bruce E. Buchanan, Sr. and Kim P. Buchanan (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, students, friends and neighbors.
