With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Posner Mede of Maplewood, New Jersey, who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Sylvina Médé (Cénafils) and Armand Sylvina; and his siblings, Canova Médé, Dieufils Médé, Idelourde Médé Petion, Monsignor Vital Médé and Bernard Médé.
He is survived by: his nephew Emmanuel Florestal; his daughters, Mary-Judith Médé (Edward) and Gabrielle Witter; his grandchildren, Janai, Jaelynn, Justin and Jayson; and his sisters, Bernadette Médé Pierre and Bergena Médé Florestal. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.
