She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Shea Jr. and Doris Luetkemeyer Shea; and her husband S. Gilmer Towell. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Towell Smith (Christopher) and Geoffrey Gilmer Towell (Elizabeth C. Towell); her grandchildren, Alissa A. Smith-Comstock, Nicholas, Smith, Elizabeth Smith Madison, Devon Towell Fish and Sydney E. Towell; and her brother George E. Shea III. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (66 Highland Ave, Short Hills, NJ 07078).
