It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen M. Johnson of Maplewood, New Jersey, born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Johnson; her children, Michael (Laurie), Mary Grace (Mohammad), Michelle (Ben), Megan (Jeff) and Maureen (Chuck); her grandchildren, Larson, Leone, Dillon, Anahid, Chase, Saam, James, Stella, Charlotte, Blue, Rosie, Leia, Blaze, Harry and Speedy; and her brothers, Thomas "Tucker" Hogan (Martha), John Michael and Hogan (Kathy). She is also survived by her children and grandchildren but also to her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church (215 Crescent Pkwy, Sea Girt, NJ 08750). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Catharine Cemetery (1100 W Chicago Blvd, Sea Girt, NJ 08750).
