He is survived by: his mother Jeannette Cruz; his stepfather Vadim Zhigin; his brother Julian; his stepsister Melania; his grandparents, Lourdes and Hector Cruz; his aunts and uncles, Christopher, Elizabeth Cruz, John and Jaimie Cruz; his cousin Jordan Cruz; his father Anwar Timol; and his grandparents, Monu and Clyde Timol.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home (26 S Holmdel Rd, Holmdel, NJ 07733). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.

“Though we were not close, we were in the same year, the same department, and perhaps even crossed paths in a hallway or a classroom. Maybe we shared a brief conversation, a glance, or simply a moment. Today, I feel a quiet sadness in remembering someone who walked beside us during our lives. His presence was part of our shared experience. The loss of a peer reminds us of the fragility of life and the importance of kindness. May he rest in peace.
