He was predeceased by: his sister Frances McDougall. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Derrick Doherty (Monica) and Stacy Doherty (Michael Bonner); his grandchildren, Corey Doherty, Shane Doherty, Caleigh Pirnik, Mackenzie Doherty and Ashlynn Doherty; his great grandchildren, Beau and Rhys Doherty; his siblings, Patrick Doherty (Barbara) and Judy Cohen; and his pets, Rana and Meka.
