He was predeceased by : his wife Marie R. Smyers; his son John J. Smyers; and his sisters, Mary and Peggy. He is survived by : his children, Maria R. Smyers and David A. Smyers (Michele); his grandchildren, Maria, Arianna (Keith), Tyler, Robert, Sean (Mary Beth) and Colin; and his great grandchild Addison. He is also survived by his family, he adored his grandchildren and great grandchild.
