He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert S. Parkin, Sr. and Grace C. Parkin Metz; and his stepfather Louis Metz. He is survived by: his siblings, Esther G. Barlow and Gilbert S. Parkin, Jr.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
