She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcelino Alvarez and Mercedes Alvarez; and her brother Marcelino Alvarez. She is survived by: her husband Tony Sala; her children, Tony Sala (Maria) and Lourdes Vandvelt (Kevin); her grandchildren, Nicholas Sala, Michael Sala, Shawn Seroka (Dakota) and Jennifer Seroka; and her niece Hilda Alvarez-Strang.
