It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merl R. Obetz of Marlton, New Jersey, who passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Merl may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merl R. Obetz, Sr. (Mary Frabictore) and NJ; and his wife Julia Obetz. He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Patricia Obetz) and Wayne (Brigid Obetz); and his brother James Obetz of Cinnaminson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
