She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Jessie; her husband Willie Lee Blount; and her sibling Marion Jessie. She is survived by: her mother Bessie Jones; her daughters, Lisa Faison (Herron) and Latoya Hampton; her grandchildren, Maliq, Daimone and Timeah; and her siblings, Debra Jessie, Thomas Jessie Jr. and Robert Jessie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
