She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Vahey; her children, Marian Parish and Joseph Mayer; her granddaughter Amanda Mayer; and her siblings, Claire Henault (late Joseph), Edward Burke and Joseph Burke (Norna).

She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Kessler (Steven) and Christine Teschko (Robert); her grandchildren, Ryan Mayer (Jennifer), Joseph Mayer (Nina), Daniel Mayer (Christina), Amy Mulcahy (Andrew), Dana Baird (Brian), Laura Fowler (Kevin) and Peter Zanghi; and her sister Patricia Fine. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
