John Bromhead Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Bromhead in Marmora, New Jersey, who passed away on January 23, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Gonville Bromhead and Florence Trucksess Bromhead; and his wife Barbara Bromhead (Allan). He is survived by: his sons, John Robin Bromhead (Nancy), Mark Scott Bromhead (Nancy), David Alexander Bromhead and Timothy Gerald Bromhead (Amy). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grand children.
