In loving memory of Sally Engstrom (Marmora, New Jersey), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who departed this world on December 19, 2025 at the age of 91. In the vast expanse of eternity, Sally shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sally farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Gus Engstrom; her parents, Sarah McKinnon and Ronald McKinnon; her daughters, Lynne Maros Kramer and Susan Maros Petrusky; and her former husband Frank Maros.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Lamb (Rob) of Alexandria, Virginia and Karen Maros (Victor) of Bronx. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Settling in Park Ridge, NJ, she did a brief stint as a teacher and then after having her first two daughters, Lynne and Diane, became a stay-at-home mom and charity organizer.
