We bid farewell to Arthur DaPonte of Matawan, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 26, 2025 at the age of 90. Arthur touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent DaPonte and Phyllis DaPonte (Nuccio); and his wife Edna DaPonte (Barton). He is survived by: his children, Donna Fiorillo (Joseph), Vincent Andrew Da Ponte (Myralitz Ortiz) and Dean Arthur Da Ponte (Shirley); his brother Andrew DaPonte (Catherine); his grandchildren, Owen Henry, Valerie Henry and Vincent DaPonte; and his great grandchild Joseph D'Zuro.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (3269 NJ-35, Hazlet, NJ 07730).
