It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Spanier of Matawan, New Jersey, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Spanier and Mary Gabelman; and his siblings, Robert "Butch" McKim, Patricia Antle, Veronica "Ronnie" Helmke, Kathleen "DeeDee" Freedy and Laura Spanier.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Spanier; his children, David Tufano (Michelle), Shawn Spanier (Lauren) and Danielle Spanier (Robert Nicoletti); and his grandchildren, Juliette Tufano, Gianni Tufano and Zac Spanier. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
