She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Flash; her daughter Erin Hall; her parents, Norma DiDonato and Joseph DiDonato; and her brothers, Paul and Christopher DiDonato.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Hall and Amy Mejlak (Hall); her grandchildren, Nathan, Brayden and Katherine Mejlak; and her brothers, Joseph, Jack, Raymond, Dennis, Michael and Mark. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Diane did not enjoy cut flowers, therefore in lieu of flowers, her family is requesting that any donations be made to a GoFundMe that will be divided between a donation to the Spina Bifida Association and put into a college fund for her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
