She was predeceased by : her parents, William G. Nelson and Eleanor Nelson; and her brothers, William G. Nelson, Thomas L. Nelson and Michael L. Nelson.

She is survived by : her siblings, Quentin Nelson and Marion Squilanti; her grandchildren, Taylor (Stephen Shaffer), Liam Dilg, Peter "Rusty" Carkhuff (Courtney), Walter Dilg, J. Lane Dilg and Gino Ferraro; and her great grandchildren, Robert, William Shaffer, Kirby and Tatum Carkhuff.
