He is survived by: his wife Gale Merilson (Garreffi); his sons, Brent A Merilson (Lisa) and Adam P Merilson (Terrilynn); his sister Phyllis Soderlund (Gunnar); and his nephews, Christopher (Juliana) and Torre Soderlund (Zohal). He is also survived by many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews.
