He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elkner and Mary Elkner; his brother Ronnie; his sister-in-law Bonnie Elkner; and his grandson Christopher Elkner.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Pratzner); his children, David (Saranna), Sharon, Timothy (Kristi) and Steven (Natalie); his grandchildren, Denise (Bruce), Jennifer (Carl), Ryan (Jess), Patrick, Ainsley and Caden; his great grandchildren, Bruce, Nicholas, Tyler and Kaleb; his sister Judy Schroeder; and his pet Copper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
