It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. McClay of Mays Landing, New Jersey, who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucile Murray McClay and Allen McClay; his grandparents, Anne B. Murray and Dr. Clifford K. Murray; and his uncle Clifford Murray.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn McClay; his children, Anthony Collins (Greta), Jonathan Collins (Heather), Jillian Gormley and Brian Gormley; his grandchildren, Rowan, Dylan, Logan, Brian, Fallyn, Liam, Nolan, Gannon, Reagan and Dorothy; his siblings-in-law, Donna Blaszczyk (Ron), Anthony Volpe, Charles Volpe, James Volpe (Priska), Rick Volpe, Joseph Volpe, Claire Volpe and Beth Brodheim-Frank; his brother Bob McClay (Lisa) of Brigantine; his nephews, Alex and Michael; his sister Kelly McClay (Debbie); his nephew Matthew; his sister Mary Jo Schneider (Joel); his siblings' children, Christine and Drew; his close friend Scott "Vito" Evans; his aunt Terry; his cousins, Cliff, Paul, Chris and Tara; Jeff and Mariam "Myrt" Ordner.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and at 5:30 PM.
