She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shearer and Laura Shearer; and her brother John Shearer. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Mongo (Barb), Leonard Mongo (Dot), Laura Fow (Greg) and Kelly Lurty; her sisters, Evelyn Valentine and Thelma Misner; and her caregivers, Doreen and Lois. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
