Troys Life wrote a sympathy message

“My family and I are so incredibly sad to hear about the passing of your son, Casey. We met last year at Deer Brook and he encouraged my son to join in on the fun on more than one occasion-even when he would probably be the youngest or would throw off the number of players. We attended SHS football games just so my son could see your son, a real-life hero, who managed the team. I hope that my son remembers him and the way he chose to include all kids in his love of the game.”
