He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel J. Eleanora and Amy Eleanora; and his brother Robert Whelan. He is survived by: his wife Leah J. Whelan; his children, Daniel Whelan III (Sue) of Medford, NJ, Glenn Whelan (Jamie) of Medford, NJ, Dianne Williams (Jim) of Bellmawr, NJ and Dawn Stafford (Chris) of Atco, NJ.; his sister Carol Greene; and his pet Teddy. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
