He is survived by: his children, Michael D'Amato, Debra D'Amato, John D'Amato (Beate), Dennis D'Amato (Robert) and Allison D'Amato; his close friend Alice M. Dawson; his grandchildren, Cory, Alex Makinin, Katarina, Sean and Talia D'Amato; and his stepgrandchildren, Mark and Janet Pagano.
