He is survived by: his wife Marlies Patterson (Dietrich); his son Lars Branoff; his stepson Lance Patterson; his daughter Stella Marie; his grandson Theodore Joseph; his daughter Marie Patterson; and his brother Tim Patterson. He is also survived by 3 aunts and one uncle, 7 cousins, 10 in-laws, and 17 nieces and nephews.
