It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Matthew Gallagher in Medford, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie; his siblings, Marie McLaughlin (William), Claire McCarthy (Charles), Thomas Gallagher (Barbara), Lawrence Gallagher (Patricia), Rita Marcincak, Peter Gallagher and James Gallagher; and his brother-in-law Michael Self.
He is survived by: his sons, John Gallagher Jr. (Kristen) of Byram, Thomas Gallagher (Jessica) of Roxbury, Michael Gallagher (Kristen) of Roxbury and Sean Gallagher (Jennifer) of Medford; his siblings, Joseph Gallagher (Joann) and Margaret Gallagher; his siblings-in-law, John Marcincak, Barbara Gallagher and Glenda Frank (Howard); his grandchildren, Alicia Henry (Michael), Thomas Gallagher Jr. (Alyssa), Courtny Margo (Casey), Tyler Gallagher (Val), Jacqueline Richards (Bryan), Kaitlyn Ignatuk (Samuel), Michael Gallagher Jr., Riley Gallagher, Taylor Gallagher, Sean Gallagher Jr., George Gallagher and Shane Gallagher; and his great grandchildren, Gian, Bliss, Brock, Grant, Remi, Amelia, Olivia, Gavin, Rhett, Tyler Jr., Claire, Georgianna and Cecilia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
