Kevin B. Wall Obituary
Kevin B. Wall, 87, of Medford, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Virtua Voorhees Hospital, Voorhees, NJ after a brief but hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born in Chicago, IL, on Aug. 20, 1934, the son of John and Mary (Davis) Wall, Kevin was the youngest of five children: John, Francis (Pete), Edward and Maripat. Kevin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He resided in Medford for the last 48 years but always cherished his Midwestern and Irish roots. He was a proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School and Xavier University. He lived the Jesuit principle of Cura Personalis. He retired at 80 after a long career in the steel construction industry and was never without the right tool for a task or an idea to solve a problem. He was a parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church in Medford, where he served as an usher for many years. He enjoyed serving his community, serving as President of the Birchwood Lakes Colony Club for several terms as well as serving on the Board of Directors for decades. Kevin was a Veteran and proudly served his country as a captain in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Valerie Wall (nee Conley); his three children, Deborah Wall, Marilou Greed (David), and Jennifer Campbell (Matthew); his sister, Maripat Berry (Tom); five grandchildren, Bridgid, Katherine, Kevin, Erin and Sean; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, November 14th, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main Street, Medford, NJ 08055. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 15th at 11:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Rd, in Medford. The funeral may be streamed on http://www.youtube.com
There will be a luncheon to follow the funeral mass. It will be at Illiano Cucina, 200 Tuckerton Rd, Medford, NJ 08055
Interment will be in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
