He was predeceased by: his mother Stella Hayward; his stepfather Walter; his father William; and his siblings, William Waerig and Kathleen Waerig.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mary Waerig (Margi); his children, Jude Waerig (Lauren), Elizabeth Ross (Daniel) and Nicole Waerig; his granddaughters, Julia and Skylar Ross; and his siblings, Arthur (Rosalie) and Stella Halasa (Bob). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and lifelong friends.
