He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alfred F. Ricciardi and Marie Ricciardi; his sister Joan Huber; his sons, Alfred Mendham (Debbie), James Mendham (late Cecilia), Joseph (Barbara), NJ and Michael; his granddaughter Suzanne (Steven); and his wife Judy. He was also cherished by his children and their spouses, his 14 grandchildren and his lifelong friends.
