He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kerr, Sr. and Katherine Petrie (Kirkwood); and his brother William Petrie. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Petrie; and his children, George Petrie (Janet), Winnie Michaluk (Pennsylvania), Mary (Angelo), Bolio (Chester) and Catherine Shubeck (Succasunna). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home - Mendham (8 Hilltop Rd, Mendham Borough, NJ 07945). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chester Congregational Church (30 Hillside Rd, Chester, NJ 07930).
