We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James J. Crowley Jr. of Metuchen, New Jersey, born in Syracuse, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Crowley and James Crowley Sr.; and his sisters, Patricia Shields and Mary Catherine Miller. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Crowley; his brother Edward J. Crowley of Reading, Pennsylvania; his children, Mary O'Mara (John) of Metuchen, James III of Florida, Kathryn McNeill of South Amboy, Patricia Crowley of Metuchen and Matthew Crowley of Chester; his grandchildren, Ryan Crowley (Andrea), Andrew Crowley (Brooke), MaryKathryn McNeill, Rosemary McNeill, Conor O'Mara and Emma O'Mara; his great grandchildren, Alice Crowley and Dean Crowley; and his cousin Patrick "Packey" McFarland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Francis Cathedral (32 Elm Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hillside Cemetery (52 Lincoln Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840).
