He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hynes and Josephine Hynes (Wernoch); his stepmother Georgine Hynes; his brother Gregory Hynes; and his in-laws, Rosemary and Joseph DiSpirito.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Hynes (DiSpirito); his siblings, John Hynes (Laurie), George Hynes (Patti) and Patricia Manica (Paul); his sisters-in-law, Nancy DiSpirito, Donna DiSpirito and Kathy Rowe (Richie); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Leigh Anne, Jessica, Matt, Joey, Gregory, Ellen, Nora, Nate and Katherine. He is also survived by his five great nieces and nephews; and many many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Koyen Funeral Home (319 Amboy Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Tunnels to Towers charity.
