She is survived by: her children, Tiana Ruiz, Abigail Diem (Alexandra), Sadie and Landen (Vincent Cardinal); her mother Dale Blackburn; her sisters, Karen DeLauro and Laura Hess; her former husband Robert Cardinal; and her stepsons, Robert, Anthony and Joseph Cardinal.
