She was predeceased by : her father William Lease. She is survived by : her mother Emma Lease; her children, Meredith Barry (Courtney) of Hillsborough and Michael Doosey (Megan) of New Orleans; her grandchildren, Erin and Luke Barry; her former life partner Howard Doosey of North Brunswick; and her siblings, Frances Hollenback of North Brunswick, Alice Dana of New York City, Rosemary Toncar (Jan), Emily Siegert of North Brunswick and William Lease (Jacqueline) of Middletown. She is also survived by family and traveling with dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations in Joyce's memory to the Salvation Army.
