Phoebe J. Menter Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 9, 2026, at the age of 85, Phoebe J. Menter of Middlesex, New Jersey, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis A. Vazquez and Ruth R. Vazquez; and her sisters, Pat Lee and Ruthie. She is survived by: her husband Eugene "Bucky" Menter; her children, John Menter (John Hoppe), Mark Menter and Michelle Martucci (Jim); her granddaughter Sophie Martucci; and her siblings, Butchie Vasquez (Buffy) and Betty Ann Marquis. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, and a host of extended relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the Menter Family has requested that donations be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation (https://glioblastomafoundation.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Phoebe's name.
