It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara Boccellato of Middletown, New Jersey is shared. Barbara, born in Cohasset, Massachusetts, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Boccellato; her son-in-law Albert Culos; and her siblings, William, Anthony, Sammy, Frank Scalzo, Cecilia DeSantis, Connie Orechio and Mary Calabretta.
She is survived by: her brother James Scalzo; her children, Ronald of River Plaza and Gloria Culos of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.; her grandchildren, Alicia Isenberg, Theresa Josa and Brian (Jamie Boccellato); her great grandchildren, Lex, Thomas, Chloe, Lucas Curcio, Aaron Jr., Brandon Josa, Eliana, Caelin and Nicaleno William Boccellato; and her friend Joseph Ihlenfeldt.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson Memorial (310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (121 Bridge Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Barbara to the River Plaza Hose Co #9, 26 Applegate St, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
