She was predeceased by: her parents, Farrell and Kathleen; and her siblings, William, Anna and May.

She is survived by: her significant other James; her children, Joseph (Holly), James (Flavia), Kathleen (Jeffrey) and George (Marguerite); her grandchildren, Kathrine, Brianne, Jeffrey, James, Claire, Nuala and Aoife; her siblings, Desmond, Dympna and Carmel; and her child God Church.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, Bernadette's friends share a meal with their own families.
